Budday Bash updates!!

I know am too late on updating this budday bash but damn work and my newly found *ahem ahem* is keeping me busy 24*7 ;-) LOL

Anyway here goes the updates

May 7th

I started getting calls from my sleepy friends who couldn't wait till the clock struck 12 or the sick ones and also the working ones to wish me sooner rather than later on my special day. I had to manage the phone calls and it was damn difficult having two phones :P *i know am blowing my own trumpet, but hey!! I was the princess for the day :) *
I was on call till 2 AM and then forced myself to sleep , as I had to work on my budday *I know Sad :P)

May 8th ...the D DAY!!

The had a wonderful start as my mom hugged me and wished me :-D *the wonders a mothers hug can do for an already special day...WOW I was already on cloud 9 !!*

and then a few of my friends called me before i could get ready for work *it made me late for work but what the heck :P*

Then I went to work and CUT A BLACK FOREST CAKE with my colleagues and had cake smeared all over me * good to know, i can still be treated like a kid :-D*

PS: the cake vanished in thin air before i could have a third helping ;-) :-D :-P

And then I had to wrap up my work by 12:30 and rush back home for my second budday bash with my family, in between calls and work, i somehow managed to get out by 12:30 and reached home by 1 .

At home there was another huge black forest cake waiting for me , i even had a tiara hehe....adorning my tiara to emphasis that am a true princess LOL i walked triumphantly to cut my cake with an audience in the number of THREE haha , it was just my mom, my bro and my another BRO RAM ...it was so chweet and simple, i cut the cake again and took my family out for lunch and MAN was I hungry , i hogged like a pig.

after this I and ram went out and bought myself my SUNGLASSES back *that a long story will explain later hehe* and then started packing for my adventurous romantic weekend ;-)

I spent some time with my family after long amidst my hectic work and felt very very happy :) then i left for my trip to the mangrove forest !!

May 9th

Here we are an hour away from the mangrove forest and I am too excited by the extension of my birthday to such a beautiful place. I know I cant explain the beauty of this place , so let me just try ...this place is like 3000 acres of backwater and the whole place is surrounded by beautiful trees which looks like huge gigantic shrubs and it is a marvel that these trees grow in salt water. we had to go boating in these waters for 4 hours to reach the beach where the water ends....and MANNNNNN that is the most beautiful beach I have ever seen so far. the sand was glittering ...and since not much people come here (as the only way to go there is by boat) it was isolated from human beings and clean and Perfect. I bought home some SAND , as i was too mesmerized by seeing such pure and glittering sand. and again the sand did not look like lumps as we normally see, but it looked like waves as the water keeps going in and out of the beach. Boating was simply a pleasure and worth sooo much , am glad i went here . especially the place where the boat can hardly go but we are surrounded by a natural tunnel made of these mangrove trees ! I know am not making a very good impression of what i saw, but trust me I cannot, you should see this place to experience it ! I was irritated even to take these pictures, as i wanted to take everything IN at first sight. And i realized one more thing. LOVE at first sight happens for sure with NATURE lol :P ...here is a small collection of pictures from my album to make sense of the above blabbered place LOL :P

We are all set to go in the BOAT :-D :P Oh yeaH , I forgot Motor boats are not allowed as they will spoil the beauty of this place and that is competely justifyable.

Fossil woods :: Expedition number THREE!!!

My next expedition was to an archeological site. I had been wanting to visit this place since I heard about it. No prizes for guessing who enlightened me about this place LOL *Blush blush* :-D

This place is near to Pondicherry. So here I was with one hardly free day MAY 1st on Laborer's day all planned to see the wood fossils of Tiruvakarai. I had to leave by 7 AM (SO sad but def'ly worth it :P). The bus stand really irritated me and almost spoiled my mood, when a cranky fully crowded bus came up, I made up my mind to go for this bus, cos standing in the bus stand wasn't fascinating me in the least. So even though the ride was extremely horrible, i had the pleasure of being seated on the engine right next to the driver hehe. It was kind of fun ;-).

We reached Pondicherry around 11 and then got an vehicle to go to Tiruvakarai. But bloody office can't leave an lady alone to have fun right? they called me 2-3 times and asked me to come to office. Here I am almost 4 hours away from Chennai and they expect me to leave my expedition to go and work for them !!!! Duhh I had better plans. Even though I had to waste almost an hour convincing them that I would be back by evening and work, I had the satisfaction of scolding my HR for trying to drag me on a holiday and that too on laborer's day. ;-D

Anyway the drive was almost an hour and I visited a chicken farm on the way and then reached this place.

Man was i dumb founded, the rock fossils no way look like stone, they look like wood pieces scattered around only. But when you touch them you can feel the texture of the stone rather than wood. This region in and around teh fossil park has these wood barks scattered all around in the natural scenery and you will be amazed as I was to know that, they are 20 million years old. I was so intrigued by the fact that I wanted to snap some of my pictures with these fossils , cos I will be long gone but the fossils will still be there in the same place for years and generations to come.

When I came back, I googled some of the information about this place but sadly even though this is almost an marvel, there are not much people who know about this place or much promotion for this wonder. All i could manage to get was this


"It's the only Petrified Forest in India. Other petrified wood forests are in Santa Cruz, Argentina, National park in northeastern Arizona, Lesvos (Greece), Curio Bay (New Zealand), and Nová Paka (Czech Republic). Southern Alberta in Canada has the largest petrified forest in the world, covering thousands of kilometers.

Petrified wood is a type of fossil where all the organic materials are replaced with minerals (silicate such as quartz). It is amazing to note that the original structure of the wood is retained. The petrification process occurs underground. When mineral rich water flows through the sediment, it deposits minerals in the plant's cells. The plant's lignin and cellulose decay away and a stone mold forms in its place. The wood is preserved due to lack of oxygen. Elements such as manganese, iron and copper in the water give petrified wood a variety of color ranges. The wood fossil at Thiruvakarai was brown in color which shows the presence of iron oxide. Petrified wood preserves the original structure of the wood in all its detail. Structures such as tree rings can be seen with the naked eye.

People who visit South India should not miss this petrified wood forest. One can travel from Chennai to Pondicherry or Chennai to Tindivanam. Thiruvakarai is located between Tindivanam and Pondicherry. It is better to get down at Mylam and then go to Thiruvakarai."

Isn't it amazing that these wood fossils have survived for so long? But trust me this is a place which is a must visit and am very very glad that I could go and view them. I wouldn't suggest you to go from April - June as the heat is too high , the rainy season would be more preferable .


Come what may , this was truly one of the amazing trips of my life.

Crocs bEwArEeeEE!!

Dearest readers,

Well Well Well …Looks who has been traveling around, too busy to even update their blog.

After 6 months of depression, hatred, love, pain, loneliness, someone is finally back in the track towards happiness. As you all had the patience to endure my poetic musings, I would now love it if you could bear with my constant jabbering about my various traveling expeditions because that what I intend to do for the next couple of weeks :-P

I already went to Jail, as you all know from my previous post, the next expedition was to the crocodile bank. And Mann was it fun ? :-D . I had tons of fun watching the crocodiles ( don’t think duhh what a geek :P) cos I have always been fascinated by these beautiful species which has withstood natures hardest terrains and climatic changes to survive along with us. I have heard that crocs have been around since dinosaurs were around. That makes them mighty special innit?

Anyway apart from viewing these species of all types and sizes, there were three things which fascinated me the most.

1. The croc aquarium. Yeah, you heard it right. This one is like you can watch the crocs from the top and also from a glass under the water, to have a glimpse of these creatures hardly a feet in front of you and in their territory..WATER! Have a look as these three crocs beautifully swim across in front of me while the hugest one just lies down silently.






























Oh my goodness, they look like floating angels. If only they weren’t so dangerous *sighs* :P


2. The next thing which captivated my attention was this huge pen, where there are more than 100 crocs for sure ( PS: I counted till 100 hehe:-D) . As I was awed by watching so many of these deadly ones, right infront of me, there comes the care taker reading my mind. He came up to me and asked, do you wanna feed them? 60 rs/ KG. I am like Whoa! Definitely. Am not missing on this one :P
3. Lalala last but not the least, try not to get disgusted, but I actually held a baby croc (Itz 2 years old or rather two years young by the way ;-) ) for more than 2 minutes. Can you believe it ? I cant haha !! =))



This one was so slimy, I was feeling eeewww, but still I felt a sort of foolish pride to hold such a dangerous species in my hand :P the care taker said even though its small its bite can cause blood injuries and unless you have a good grip on its neck, the chances of he biting me is way too high :P , that could not stop me too ;-) . I held it and almost kissed it (Yeah right! ewww again ) but was kinda scared cos if he kisses back, I would have to loose my lovely lips haha !! LOL



I also had the opportunity to hold a baby python but sheesh they are so slimy, I could have puked right there ! (Don’t Ask me why I Did not puke for holding the croc. He was amazing :P)

Hope you guys are not bored by my expeditions, cos I sure as hell am not ;-) . I have some plans for some great places. But bull shit work is keeping me from enjoying myself. Whatever the heck am gonna continue my expeditions and update them as and when time permits.

The Oscar winners of my Love Life !=))

Hey everyone!

With due apologies to everyone who had to endure my poetic phase last month, am posting something which is not a poem now. :P I guess i got carried away by my emotions.

Anyway enough of that, last night I was discussing with my friend about the pathetic state my LOVE life is in LOL =)).

And my friend had the guts to make up a small version of a mini Oscar with my life and I felt embarrassed and good after hearing it. Am not mentioning names though for privacy reasons haha!




The Much awaited Oscar results and nominees have finally been submitted. and I know you are all eager to know the results. so here we go....

BEST FEMALE ACTRESS - Obviously Me! *bows down* I never felt I would be honored enough to be nominated and thinking I have won makes me cry with JOY! I thank all of you for supporting me all the along to achieve this. I would be lying if I say i did not think I will win, cos after all all the forthcoming awards are based on me HAHA!

BEST SUPPORTING ACTOR - Dedicated one and only to my brother who has been through with me all along. especially the bad phases and of course he will always win this award hands down all his life.

BEST ACTOR IN NEGATIVE ROLE : Here comes the marvelous twist of Hero turned Villan. The best MALE LEAD , and most wanted actor has unfortunately bagged the best role in villanous category ! The negative end to the story came as much as a surprise to me, but that does not exclude him from the nominees list or for bagging an well deserved award for five years of dedication! LOL

BEST COMEDIAN : This person got nominated and selected overnight LOL. For being an amazing person and for being one of the best things that happened to me in life. Not to forget this entire script has been directed by him! I have only added some spice to this story for making it a decent read to the viewers :) and ya thanks for being so supportive, caring and loving. and be happy that you got nominated dude =))

LIFE TIME ACHIEVEMENT AWARD : This is dedicated to the first person who got a chance into the story. Being young and as inexperienced as he was, he could unfortunately not make it as a HERO in the story but he ended up being in love with the story for more than 8 years which makes him the right person to receive this award !

The last and most anticipated award of the night ,

BEST ACTOR: *drop dead silence*

The Best leading Actress award winner is going to give a small speech for making it a little more spicy.

*clears throat* well I am very happy to be on this stage for not only receiving but also giving away an award. Am sorry to say this but unfortunately all the nominees weren't fortunate enough to bag an award. The nominees are requested to digest this information with a pinch of slat HEHE!

and Sorry to disappoint you viewers again , but this award will unfortunately be decided by the only person in the judging panel aka MY MOM. So unless the horoscopes, caste and bullshit of this person does not match with mine, the award would have to be indiscriminately postponed apparently =)). so please wait and watch for this space to get filled in the near future.

I would feel bad obviously, but thank my lucky stars that i realized sooner that he is the KING of loser's ..(I mean cheating on me ...what a looser ha ha :P LOL).

This is the testi ma bestest frend wrote for me ....i kinda thot i had lost it , but i got it bak yayyyyyyyy \:d/ so posting here , so dat u peeps can get to know me ;-) hahha!!! PS: he was too shy to post it even in ORKUT lol=))

A friend is a personal relationship. I like and admire many people who i don’t consider friends.I choose to think of friend as a very strong word, representing a very close relationship..

Seno...no call her prabha..for all those people who dunno.. Thats wot her name is...

I kno am not the only person who thought her name was seno!!!! Prabha is sucha..stupid('s) name....[:p]


You are friendly, kind and caring, sensitive, loyal and understanding, humorous, fun, secure and true..special, accepting, exciting and wise ..truthful and helpful,..blah blah... I kno these things don’t define her… but then I had to write some so called NORMAL good qualities..one sec.. is she anyway normal…?? Actually I have a lot to say bout this gal.. But i aint tat good at words so I let you people figure that out urselves…Its just that i am very happy knowing her.. And its not everyday i get to make such a great friend...so i intend to hold onto you for a long long time gal....

Frankly shes someone i turn to whenevr i need a push(kick) to lift ma spirits..shes just a call away when i need tat instant advise on somethin "hardly" important....then she throws this sensible advice rite on ma face...makes me feel too dumb..i may sound a parasite maselv but then when things are this easy to fetch(and so bug free) why flex ur super complex brains....wot say seno...[:d]

Most of the time she is a teacher, a very good one, who constantly questions me. "those of course are the best teachers, the ones who ask you to think"...evn tho her questions have been annoyin at times[:p] it did make me smart.. Mayb thats what she wanted me to become...[8)]..am there am there..!!!!

I talk to her bout almost anything .. share feelings, talk about our enthusiasms, our ideas, the things we care bout, the things we don’t care bout.. everythin.. Carefree… as I believe if I ever find i must be careful how i say things, then it’s something other than friendship.

That’s what she is…. If you get to be in her good friends list then you get the warrant to talk about anything… anytime… anywhere…

Shes makes you feel very comfortable…. Way to go bugger…

Continuing on ma lill talk on friendship I can only say I haven chosen to call prabha as a friend.. a true friend with every moment spent worth relishing.
